Just days after BSC provided fans with a new trailer for the wild and romantic live action comic book adaptation Scott Pilgrim vs The World, that video is followed by the release of a television promo spot which you can view below. The rock n’ roll action adventure comedy opens August 13th. It follows Michael Cera’s title character when he meets the girl of his dreams, portrayed by Mary Elizabeth Winstead, but learns her seven evil exes are now coming to kill him. The league of crazies include Chris Evans, who has played The Human Torch and has signed to be the new Captain America, as well as Brandon Routh who was the silver screen’s last Superman. The cast also includes Keiran Culkin (Igby Goes Down), Anna Kendrick (Twilight, Up in the Air) and Jason Schwartzman (Shop Girl, The Darjeeling Unlimited). Edgar Wright (Shaun of the Dead) directs. Bryan Lee O’Malley is the author of the original comic book series, and Michael Bacall worked on adapting the screenplay. The soundtrack can be previewed by becoming a fan of the film on Facebook.
