Michael Cera Campaigning to Play Oscar in Ghostbusters 3

While there have been no official casting announcements for the next generation of Ghostbusters yet, Cera has reportedly been campaigning to play Oscar. The actor informed People magazine that during the filming of Year One, he constantly haranged director Ramis about the “Ghostbusters” franchise and potentially playing a part in the third movie.
“(I loved) Ghostbusters! As a kid, I wanted to be Bill Murray’s character. Harold told me lots of stories and I memorized every word.”

Michael Cera’s ‘Youth In Revolt’ takes on ‘The Twilight Saga: New Moon’

Michael Cera, who co-stars with Anna Kendrick in next year’s Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World, is the star of next summer’s Youth In Revolt, a picture which might have previously had little to do with The Twilight Saga: New Moon.
The film centers on “Nick Twisp,” who’s got his eyes set on a girl and he won’t take no for an answer – instead transforming into a suave ladies man persona by the name of “Francois.”
“Francois,” in this hilarious spoof poster issued by (according to Digital Spy) the movie’s film studio for a few laughs, is made to look like Edward Cullen in The Twilight Saga: New Moon.
Whatever the case may be, it’s still a pretty hilarious and light-hearted gesture.

Michael Cera Talks ‘Scott Pilgrim’ Comics, Band Practice And The Ex-Boyfriend Dilemma

mtv.com article says:

With filming wrapped and director Edgar Wright in the editing room working on putting “Scott Pilgrim Vs. the World” together, the only thing left to do is wait for the film’s 2010 release date… and to ask as many of the actors involved as possible for details about the movie.
Jason Schwartzman told us last month that Wright “would be Ticketholder #1 in line for ['Scott Pilgrim']” if he wasn’t directing it. But Wright wasn’t the only fan on set. When we caught up with Michael Cera on his promotional tour for “Youth in Revolt,” the film’s very own Scott Pilgrim admitted he was a longtime fan of the series as well.
“I read them before there was even a movie. There were only a few out. There were only like two out at the time, but yeah, I loved them. They’re so great,” said Cera. “There’s five out now and the sixth one is going to come out soon, I think, but yeah, they’re amazing.”
